Grilled Pineapple Dessert


1 Pineapple, peeled and cut into 1/2" rings
2 Tbsp Butter
¼ Cup Brown Sugar
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
2 Tbsp Water (or Rum)


Preheat the grill to medium heat. 

Melt butter in the microwave using low heat then add brown sugar, vanilla and water. Mix well. Lay pineapple rings flat in a baking dish and brush with glaze until both sides are coated.

Grill the pineapple rings on lowest rack about 2-3 minutes per side, turning once. Only turning once will allow those nice grill marks to form. When done, transfer pineapple rings to a large serving platter. Serve them with cake, ice cream or both!
