Orange Cloud Cake

First prepare the crust as follows:
9 tbs of Butter
1/2 cup Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
1/8 tsp Salt

Combine the butter, sugar & vanilla in a large bowl & beat at medium speed for about 2 minutes. Now add the flour & salt & beat at low speed until well blended.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Next, pat the dough into a 9x13 baking dish. Pierce the dough with a fork & bake about 12 minutes, or until lightly browned.

Here's how to make the filling:
2 11 oz. cans of Mandarin Oranges undrained
1/4 cup of Sugar
1 24 oz. carton of Sour Cream
2 3.4 oz. pkg of Vanilla Instant Pudding
1 8 oz. container of Cool Whip

Drain the oranges & save 1/2 cup of the liquid. Combine the ingredients (except the actual orange segments & cool whip) in a mixing bowl. Once mixed add the oranges very carefully. Spoon the mixture onto the crust & spread evenly. Top with the Cool Whip & chill for 1 hour. Enjoy!
